I’m all storied out!!! AND It got so insane, FB memorialized my old account of over 10 years 😯.
Its ok, its ok, I’m not materialistic anyway, I WILL actually die in real life too, ⚰ incase you didn’t realise.
One story I didn’t tell was my hay days of teaching Quranic Arabic with thajweed to ladies in Chester, for 8 years. Yes, we teach Arabic as well as Maths!
My fondest, happiest memory so far 😍. It all ended when we moved to Blackburn in 2014.
But I wanted to revive it. So I put it on my November 2020 bucket list 🪣, as shown on the picture. Growth, experience and contribution to the community.
“You can’t teach it here in Blackburn,” they said.
“Your not an Alima,” they said.
“Nobody will come to you!” They said… back in 2016.
So we jump on the Alima course.
➡️ It doesn’t matter that we did hifz for 25 years with an Arab in Liverpool.
➡️ It doesn’t matter that we did Bukhari in house mosque for 30 odd years.
➡️ It doesn’t matter that we did bits and pieces of other stuffs, Almaghrib, Alkauthar.
➡️ They
➡️ want
➡️ the
➡️ Alima.
No no. Its not the Alima they want. Its the familiar face 👥 they want.
I called all my old buddies from Chester, 🗣 “Who wants to jump on zoom, for 40 mins, once a week, and go over the last 10 small surahs with thajweed for 11 weeks?”

December 2020, my dream comes true. 🤩. It didn’t even take that long to happen!

👌Moral of the story 2: Write your dreams. It will materialise…Inshallah.
